Our Experiences

Combined, we have over 30 years of experience working in midwifery. We have been with women and supported women in pregnancy, labour and birth and the postnatal period in every possible scenario imaginable. We know first hand that this time is extremely unique for each individual and that’s where the inspiration for our classes and care packages comes from.

Our Values

All the content and advice we provide is based on evidence and enhanced by our vast experience working in the Maternity Service. We are both currently working in a busy Dublin Maternity hospital, so all our information and advice is drawn from current practices. We are so excited to share our passion and knowledge with you.

Colette O’ Neill

Colette O’Neill- RM, MSc
I am a registered Clinical Midwife with a Masters in Midwifery Practice, Childbirth Educator and Baby Massage Instructor. However my biggest achievement and role is being a mum to my two gorgeous boys; Hugo and Luca.

I have been immersed in the world of maternity care for over 16 years now working in a variety of capacities and roles. At present I am working in a busy Dublin maternity hospital in the labour and birthing unit so have current on the ground experience and insight into today’s hospitals care and management.

I am passionate about midwifery and providing evidence based individualised care that is honest and empowering. I am so lucky to still appreciate how rewarding and amazing my daily role is supporting families during their most vulnerable moments. I feel in a privileged position to empower, educate and excite women and their families when preparing and navigating this massive transition to parenthood.
In addition to my extensive clinical experience my experience as a mother has really consolidated the theory and practice. I believe I bring a refreshingly honest, rounded and evidenced based approach to my classes and care.

Looking forward to getting you informed, excited and empowered!

Sally Horton- RGN, RM, RMP, MSc
Midwifery has been both my profession and passion since I started my training in 2010. Since then, I have had wonderful opportunities to work in various roles as a midwife: Labour and Birth, Antenatal and Postnatal care, and in Midwifery Education. During this time I have completed lots of additional training including: completing a Masters in Midwifery Practice, training as a pregnancy yoga teacher, and the most exceptional experience yet- becoming a mum to my amazing daughter Julia.

I truly believe that each pregnancy, birth and transition into parenthood is so unique. I work hard at integrating my vast clinical midwifery experience to provide education and support that will genuinely benefit, equip and excite you! I am currently working in a busy Dublin Maternity Hospital, allowing me to provide current and accurate information. I am really looking forward to meeting you and bringing tools and knowledge to uniquely support you at this very special time.
